White Stripes: In The Cold, Cold Night

This creepy tune requires well controlled sliding. To help the tab make sense, the shape being moved up and down the fretboard is the outer two strings of the power chord shape. Because you only play the outer 2 strings and not the middle string, they can't be hit with a plectrum, they must be played with a finger and thumb pinch-like action (middle finger recommended).

Good tip: Your fretboard has metal bumps all over it. Slide your finger tips along with good directional push, at a broom-sweeping angle, but don't squeeze the strings too hard or your fingers jam up behind the fretwire.
