Fender Jaguar, super control

THE WHITE STRIPES: IN THE COLD-COLD NIGHT

This creepy tune requires some pretty swift scoop sliding as I call it. To help the tab make sense, the shape being moved up and down the fretboard is the outer two strings of the power chord shape. Because you only play the outer 2 strings and not the middle string, they can't be hit with a plectrum, they must be picked with finger and thumb (middle finger recommended).

The x is where the notes are stopped silent, dead on the beat

Vital tip: Your fretboard has bumps all over it, slide your fingers with force at a sweeping angle so they don't trip over the fretwire.
