This is a great tune to advancing your finger-picking arpeggio, but it is not the easiest. In the second chord of the verse you see that F# is added to the D chord on the bass E string 2nd fret. You need to hold that fret down by wrapping your thumb over the top of the neck whilst holding the D chord... big hands only!
Vital tip: the changes can seem quite awkward, but notice how every bar either starts or ends with an open string? This is your chance to re-shape from one chord to the next while no fingers are busy.
